Programming the KTES – Accessing it n Access the VUI (Visual User Interface) l l Hold the * key for 5 seconds (the unit will beep after 5 seconds) Enter the default Installer PIN 8888 The star key * can also be used as the Exit or Escape key. The pound key # is the Enter key. Note: For security purposes, you should change your PIN to a different value as soon as possible.

Programming the KTES – Entering text The system support capital as well as lower cases letters. The panel middle key allows you to choose your preference: • Caps: First letter after a space is capitalized (default). • CAPS: All capital letters • caps: All letters will be lower case. Bk.
