ABOUT SIR RANULPH FIENNES Sir Ranulph Fiennes is a British adventure and according to the Guinness Book of World Records he is the world´s greatest living adventurer, military, english lord and writer. Many of his adventures and expeditions are for a good cause, like charity. He was the first man in cross the Antartic by walk.
EVEREST CHALLENGE 2009 In 2009 at the age of 65, Sir Ranulph Fiennes conquered Mount Everest. Becoming the first person to summit Everest and cross both polar ice caps. He became, and still is, the oldest Briton to successfully climb Mount Everest.
EXEL NORTH POLE EXPEDITION 2009 The expedition would take Ran from Ward Hunt Island on the edge of Canada, out onto the frozen sea-ice of the Arctic Ocean and across 478 miles of the harshest environments on earth. Ran and Mac arrived at Resolute Bay in northern Canada on 5 th February 2000
LAND ROVER GLOBAL EXPEDITION 1998 An expedition led by British explorers, Sir Ranulph Fiennes, the ‘Land Rover Global Expedition’ was born. The tour was to cover more than 37000 km via London, Moscow and the Bering Strait, before going down again towards the United States. A scouting mission was carried out, and the Mattracks equipped Land Rovers were tested in Alaska for durability in these harsh conditions.
