What is pride? �Biblically, one who thinks too highly of himself, or an undue sense of one’s own self importance �Pride – by its very definition, is sinful. Every usage of the (English) word in OT & NT, is never good. �Do not confuse pride with recognizing good achievements, feeling good or thinking confidently about yourself or others, WITH humility.
What is pride? �Pride is manifested in many ways: �Arrogance, self-righteousness, & boasting often the product of pride �Excessive concern about appearance �More concerned about what others think than God �Continually, seeking the praise of others �Failure to admit our sin or we are wrong
