We use «Simple Past» tense to describe events in the past. With the verb IRREGULAR: go- went He went to school He didn’t go yesterday. to school yesterday. With the verb REGULAR: study-studied She studied Maths last week. study-studied She didn’t study Maths last week. go- went Did he go to school yesterday? study-studied Did she study Maths last week?
We use «Simple Past» tense to describe events in the past. With helping verb «be» : was He was ten years old last year. were We were tired yesterday. was He wasn’t ten years old last year. were We weren’t tired yesterday. was Was he ten years old last year? were Were you tired yesterday?
