Today • Hear 4 talks: – – Anthropogenic Land Cover Change Experiments in the CCSM Statistical Properties of Turbulent Flows The Upper Atmosphere: Problems in Developing Realistic Models The Planetary Boundary Layer and Uncertainty in Lower Boundary Conditions • Idea for each session is for speakers to present their science, models and potential research problems • Aim for participants is to ask questions to help understand issues, see if there is any mutual interests • Format is loose … each session has about 35 minutes for discussion to help understand problems • See what fits with your research program Simon Fraser University Department of Statistics and Actuarial Sciences
