A little on what E-Learning classrooms are about. E-LEANING CLASSROOMS � E-Learning classrooms are mostly present in today lifestyle all around the world. E -learning classrooms will be the use of electronic media , information and communications technology. E –Learning includes types of media such as text , audio, video tape, computer base learning and satellite etc. The term e-learning simply occurs with computer which generally means over the internet with the information delivered form via a browser.
Information on what Traditional classrooms are about. � Traditional Classrooms Traditional classrooms the learning has hardly any technology to do with the teaching. The teacher will usually use blackboards, chalk, rulers to point with to the board , textbooks and lots of chats. Traditional classrooms also known as back- to- basics and conventional education.
Similarities between E-learning classrooms and Traditional classrooms. 1 Everything has change over the years that there is not much things that still resist now but students still use there textbook to study and learn from students also 2 still uses the same equipment like pencils, rubbers, pens etc. 3 Students still discusses things with there teachers.
Differences between E-learning classrooms and Traditional classrooms. � E- learning classrooms : 1 Students dynamically grouped by interest or ability for each project or subject , with the possibly of different groups each hour of the day. 2 Project –based instructions using any available resource using the internet, library and outside experts. 3 Significant attention to social development including team work. 4 In alternate schools teaches are allowed to call teachers by their first names. Students and teacher may work together as collaborates. Group activities , students-led discovery and hand on activities. � Traditional classrooms: 1 Students match by age and possibly also by ability. All students in a classroom are taught the same material. 2 Instructions based on textbooks , lectures and individual assignments. 3 Focus on individual learning. 4 With school to work academically weak students must take some advance classes. 5 Students often address teacher by their lass names. Students should obey their teachers. 6 Students learn threw observation and listening and direct instructions and lectures seatwork.
