Silver Nitrate Lab Safety • Wear goggles, aprons and closed toe • shoes in the lab Do not spill silver nitrate on your hand. It will stain your hands. – One person from the group will handle the silver nitrate and wear gloves • Label test tube with Copper and Silver Nitrate with a piece of tape. After the reaction has been set up place test tube in the designated test tube rack
