Silent Discussion � Step 1: Using your knowledge of our essential questions from the “Do Now, ” discuss the quote at your first station and decide which essential question you think applies the best. You have 4 minutes to decide. � Step 2: Check in with Mrs. Blake about your chosen essential question. Once it has been approved, write the question in a box in the middle of a large sheet of paper. Using the same colored marker, your group should comment on this essential question and how it connects to your quote. Ask questions, make original comments, elaborate on others’ comments, etc. � Step 3: Switch to another group’s quote/question and add to their commentary. You will have 3 minutes per station. � Step 4: When you arrive at your original poster, read over the comments and underline the most interesting points made about whether this essential question was the best fit for your quote.
