Sight Word Flashcards Sight Word Flashcards (play each game 2 x a week; complete one activity a day on the Extra Challenge Sheet) The goal: Read the words correctly as you play various card games. These games ask students to quickly and correctly recognize sight words and decodable words that are on grade level.

Sight Word Flashcards Why is this skill important? Once students are able to use sight words fluently, they will be better equipped to defend their thinking throughout the math and literacy curriculum (ex. Responding to textbased writing prompts).
