Shutdown Access • Monday July 10 th – Keys available for all areas by 08: 00 – Radiological Work Permit sign-off stations in the Huddle – Enclosures re-cored to a shutdown access key series • Booster, 8 Ge. V Line, Main Injector/Recycler, Nu. MI, F-Sector, Transfer Hall, and Muon Campus Delivery Ring and Extraction Enclosure • Long term shutdown access keys are issued for the duration of the shutdown and then turned into the MCR • Linac – Remains on enclosure interlock key series – Enclosure keys issued daily through the Main Control Room 2 June 22, 2017 John Anderson Jr. | AD All-Hands Meeting

Radiation Safety - RWPs • All personnel entering beam line enclosures are required to read the Radiological Work Permit(s) (RWPs), review the survey maps for their work locations, and sign the RWPs for the area(s) being entered • RWPs only need to be signed once for the duration of the shutdown 7 June 22, 2017 John Anderson Jr. | AD All-Hands Meeting

Radiation Safety - Dosimetry • ALARA jobs may have additional dosimetry and dose recording requirements as instructed by the attending Radiological Control Technician • Please record pocket dosimeter readings weekly in Get. Dose • Contractors and others not subscribed to Get. Dose should record their daily dose on pocket dosimeter cards or as instructed by their task managers • Turn in pocket dosimeter cards on Monday mornings to Michael Vincent in the ESH&Q Section Radiation Physics Science Department • Michael’s office is on the second floor of the Linac Annex 10 June 22, 2017 John Anderson Jr. | AD All-Hands Meeting
Radiation Safety - General • When transitioning between adjacent enclosures: – Personnel must ensure they have read and signed the applicable RWP for each enclosure – Must have the enclosure enter keys for each enclosure to be entered – Insure enclosure doors are closed after entry • Follow additional instructions from the RCTs and/or RSO • Personnel should contact their supervisor task manager, or Radiation Safety for radiological questions 11 June 22, 2017 John Anderson Jr. | AD All-Hands Meeting
