CONCEPT • Indoor Jib park for freestyle skiing and snowboarding • Downtown Montreal • Pass based system, just like a ski hill • Promoting freestyle skiing and snowboarding and an active lifestyle • Facility has 2 focus’s – Sweet tricks and Safety
OPPORTUNITY • Quebec has 24% of all skier visits, twice as much as Ontario • 14. 2% of Adult Canadians ski or Snowboard, which is roughly 2. 5 million people • Montreal has few hills close by, and none with remarkable jib facilities
TARGET MARKET Park Rats Novice’s and Beginners • We will approach this market last • Don’t Have much personnel money (funded by parents) • Selling lessons and freestyle education • Can’t afford Cars to get to hills • Will promote the sport and get more people riding! • Aren’t interested in lessons • Have their own gear Intermediate Skiers/Snowboarders • Men and women aged 12 -35 • Intimidated by risk of injury to body or ego
PRODUCT AND MARKETING • Selling 3 types of passes • Half Day passes - $35 • Full Day passes - $50 • 4 month pass - $250 • Eventually Lesson Programs will be started, but after the first year.
PRODUCT AND MARKETING • Web based social media campaign • Use Jokes and clever euphamisms Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit • “Get your steeeaaze at Shreddiez” • Posters, Flyers and stickers at all the places cool kids hang out – The Mall, skate parks, skate shops, ski hills, parking lots and under bridges. • “Come for a bowl of Shreddiez” • Clients would have to come to the facility to purchase passes. • “Bring the milk, well provide the SHREDDIEZ” • “ Voulez-vous shred avec moi ce soir”
BUSINESS MODEL • Sole proprietorship • 1 full time employee • 3 part time employees (part time $92 a day) • All seasons, not affected by bad weather • Expand to Toronto or G. T. A area
