Economics of Remediation Per cohort, the joint goals are to: • Maximize number passing college-level course (output) • Take fewest/cheapest number of remedial and college-level courses (costs) Co. Req (over EM): • Greater output • Higher cost (more courses + transition costs from EM) • Examine trade-off using economic model
