Short-term Rental Rent or lease of a dwelling, dwelling unit, accessory dwelling unit, or

Short-term Rental Rent or lease of a dwelling, dwelling unit, accessory dwelling unit, or portion of any dwelling unit to a particular person or persons for periods of time less than thirty (30) days.

Licensing System • Only Primary Residents may obtain a license. • Primary residence is defined as a person’s fixed, permanent, and principal domicile for more than six months. Person may have only one primary residence.

Detached Accessory Dwelling Unit • Class A license for detached ADUs that is legally established on May 7, 2019. • Documentation that host operated ADU as a short-term rental before May 7, 2019. • Only one short-term rental license per lot. • Class A allows unlimited days of short-term rentals for ADU. • Must apply for license before May 7, 2020. License is not transferrable.
