(1 person) • Ministry Activities: Supporting house church ministry, children’s ministry, maybe teach violin or piano to children if possible. • Budget and Expenses: Airfare (approx. $1500 -2000). Housing and food provided. • Advice/Comments: Have a learning and open mind to understand a very special Islamic country, Brunei. • Prayer Topics: Spiritual revival of house church ministry, Bible students, for director to complete Ph. D study by August 2014 • Additional information: Brunei UBF is family of 5 with 3 children (two boys and one youngest daughter, 13, 11 and 9 years old, respectively). They have been there for 15 years since 1998. Ministry activities are limited because of religious prohibitions in the country. Ministry can sometimes be lonely. They welcome anyone who would like to have some experience of evangelical activity in Malay Muslim and Chinese society of Southeast Asia.

Food will be provided. • Advice/Comments: No specific advice; have a prepared heart.

STM Opportunities: Muslim Nations + & CIS (Astana, Kazakhstan) • When/Length of time: Summer 2014, 2 months, (2 -3 persons or more) • Ministry Activities: Music ministry: someone who can play a musical instrument is needed. There may also be a teenage girls retreat that will need support. • Budget and Expenses: Housing will be provided. STM will need money for food and additional expenses. Food expenses are relatively low. • Advice/Comments: A missionary should be ready to serve as a missionary. Kazakhstan is a developed country. There may be cultural differences in mentality; STM should be prepared to think differently. • Prayer Topics: Key verse: 1 Peter 2: 4 -5. We constantly pray for missionaries and for supporting them. One other prayer topic is families: fortify our families and establish new families.

STM Opportunities: Africa + (South Africa) • When/Length of time: Come between August 1 -14 (one week after university opens for 2 nd semester) (2 persons) n Ministry Activities: Pray an hour daily for our ministry and its members, preach the gospel on campus so that students may have one to one Bible study with our members after the STMs leave, give instrument lessons Budget and Expenses: Airfare. Expenses $200/per week. Housing will be provided. Advice/Comments: It would be good if the STM can speak Portuguese or French. Read books about South African history and Black ethnic traditions. Ministry Prayer Topics: Raise 12 disciples, pioneer neighboring countries. There are 5 chapters in South Africa. (1 person) Ministry Activities: help prepare for summer conference, supporting children's ministry, giving instrument lessons, praise, teach English to students, teach the Bible, campus outreach, Sunday message, praise team, learn Chinese in the NSYSU Chinese Language Center (strongly recommended, STM should not miss the opportunity to take formal Chinese lessons in NSYSU) Budget and Expenses: Airfare ($2000 -2500), Food ($10 -15/day), Visa ($100), Housing and bike will be provided. Language course ($1000) will be provided by our ministry.

+ • STM Opportunities: (Taiwan) Advice/Comments: The STM should prepare material for basic one -to-one Bible study. Student co-workers should seek opportunity to get into an exchange program to attend National Sun Yat-sen University. (NSYSU has exchange programs with universities in the US and in Europe) • Since we are preparing to host the 2014 Asia Directors Conference, we hope to have English-Korean Bilingual STM to come in this Fall (if possible) to assist us in communicating with our Asia coworkers and to train our members in Korean or English language. • We also welcome second gens who have a calling to serve in Asia pioneering work (esp. China). Our campus has a very good Chinese Language Center with students from all over the world. Second gens or young growing disciples who want to receive training to go to China or other Southeast Asian countries can use Kaohsiung, Taiwan, as a stepping stone, preparing for future mission work.

Housing, food, and tours will be provided. • Advice/Comments: Native English speaker preferred. • Ministry Prayer Topics: To establish new families.

+ STM Opportunities: Kingston, England • It is not easy to receive new missionaries from Korea because of a severe economic recession and the strict immigration laws of England. However, it is an open mission field for anyone from America who has no language problem. Professionals such as teachers, doctors, and nurses can get a job easily here and live as a lay-missionary. • Ministry Prayer Topics: God may send missionaries from America, missionaries’ self-supporting business, health of Rebekah Suk.
