“THE GIFT OF THE MAGI” Jim sees that Della’s hair has been cut and Della opens the gift of combs. Jim and Della decide to put gifts away until they can use them. Della sells her hair for $20 to buy Jim a chain for his watch. Della and Jim Della only has $1. 87 for Christmas gift for Jim and Della learn a valuable lesson. They are the wisest gift givers.

“THE MOST DANGEROUS GAME” Rainsford jumps off cliff. Zaroff returns to his house. Rainsford ambushes and kills Zaroff. Rainsford falls off the boat. He ends up at Zaroff’s house and has to survive being hunted. Whitney and Rainsford are going on a hunting trip-on boat in the Carribean Sea/Ship Trap Island Rainsford says that he has never slept more soundly in his life.

“THE SCARLET IBIS” Last day of training, Doodle can’t go on. Narrator gets mad and runs away from him, leaving Doodle in a t-storm. Narrator turns around, but Finds Doodle dead under a bush-similar to scarlet ibis. Narrator wants his brother To be “normal”/Doodle finds a scarlet ibis that dies. Doodle, older brother, Mom, Dad, Aunt Nicey Southern US state Narrator recalls how his selfish pride killed his brother, Doodle.

“THE NECKLACE” Loisels come home from the ball and realize necklace is missing. Loisels buy an identical necklace with money they had to borrow. Mr. Loisel brings home invitation to ball. Mathilde has nothing to wear. Mr. & Mrs. Loisel Apartment After 10 years of repaying loan, Mathilde tells her friend the truth. Mme. Forestier tells Mathilde that the necklace was fake.

“THE CASK OF AMONTILLADO” Montresor shackles Fortunato inside the hole in the wall and begins to seal it up. As the last few bricks are laid, Fortunato yells for Montresor to stop, but it’s too late. Montresor lures Fortunato Down into the vault. Carnival in Italy Montresor runs into Fortunato Montresor walks away and claims that no one has disturbed them for 50 years. He has gotten away with his plot!
