Avoiding Injury Most accidents occur as a result of carelessness. When working in the shop, it is important you pay attention to your work to avoid injury.
Shop Safety Rules O Wear safety glasses; it is a state law O Wear protective clothing O Keep the laboratory clean O Avoid horseplay at all times O Do not throw objects O Store tools properly O Do not use tools without permission O Use the correct tools for the job O Report broken tools to the instructor

Group Activity Criteria O In your groups, choose two of the shop safety rules that we discussed today. You can find them on your handout. Take ten minutes and make up a skit that shows either a good or bad example of BOTH of these rules. Your group will be given no more than two minutes to present in front of the class. I will time your presentation.
