LITERACY FIRST CHARTER SCHOOLS • Kindergarten – 8 th Grade • Serves a low income community • 50% of students are English Language Learners • 3 campuses: Primary Academy, Liberty Academy, and Junior Academy

LFCS MISSION Literacy First Charter Schools exists to nurture the whole child from Kindergarten through High School graduation by igniting a passion for comprehensive literacy and equipping them to wholeheartedly participate in their community.

LFCS VISION LFCS desires to shape: Life-Long Learners Independent thinkers Technology literate citizens Enthusiastic and highly qualified teachers Reliable assessments Aspiring leaders who positively impact their community Community that understands and supports LFCS Yearly and fiscal sound budget

COMMUNICATING THE MISSION & VISION For Students: • Having a strong character development model to teach to students • School functions that support student unity • Creating a safe and loving environment for students to grow

COMMUNICATING THE MISSION & VISION For Teachers & Staff: • Providing professional development that teaches staff about the foundation of the school • Providing functions for teachers to bond with an another • Encouraging teachers to set goals on how they will embed the mission and vision inside of their classrooms.
