Mindfulness and Meditation with Dr. Nanette Negri is a behavioral specialist and wellness coach

Mindfulness and Meditation with Dr. Nanette Negri is a behavioral specialist and wellness coach whose work focuses on implementing mindfulness practices into interventions and support services for children and adults on the autism spectrum and their families. With over 45 years of experience, she has worked as a signed speech specialist, behavioral specialist, educator and program director in the field of autism research and education. Through mindfulness and yoga practices, Dr. Negri’s approach highlights a person first approach to her work. Dr. Negri’s work continues to empower persons with neurophysiological differences, autism and other movement and communication challenges

Farm to School Funding Action Team Partners ● St. Louis County ● Duluth Farm to School ● Generations Health Care Initiatives ● Essentia Health The Duluth Farm to School program has sought out creative partnerships during COVID-19. Duluth School Gardens harvested and distributed 1950 pounds of produce to local families this summer and fall! Of this, 1600 pounds was distributed in the community and 350 pounds to school/after school activities. Summer Food Resource Action Team Partners ● Ecolibrium 3 ● Zeitgeist Center for the Arts ● Generations Health Care Initiatives ● Essentia Health ● Healthy Northland In the spring of 2020 Ecolibrium 3 developed an online Food Resource Guide to help community members with increasing food needs as the pandemic hit. During the summer several partners met to work with Eco 3 to update the food guide and print it to get the word out about the different food resources available to the community. The goals include developing a screening and referral process, identifying gaps in resource availability, and coordinating among service providers.
