Maj monitor. ” • “I need to stay operational to be relevant for upward mobility. ” • “I need to rotate to a new billet at my 24 -mth mark to be competitive. ” • “A MCRC assignment is a step down from an 0 -5 level assignment. ” • “Why am I not in an 0 -6 level assignment at my 36 month mark? ” • Did you accept any billet that was available during your Scheduled Date of Departure? (SEDD) • Do you have a competitive fitness report profile as a Sgt. Maj (e. g. Avg/AAvg/BAvg)? • Was there an 0 -6 level vetting process imposed by an MSC level Sgt. Maj? • Are you high tenure AFADBD?

Manning Precedence Levels • Distribution of available manning via MCO 5320. 12 (Manning/Staffing Precedence Levels) • - Excepted Commands (e. g. , 8 th & I, HMX-1, MCRC, MCESG, MCSF, etc. )…must be manned at 100%. • - Operational Force Commands (Inf Bn, MLG, Sqdrn’s) manning goal is 95%. • - Priority Commands (e. g. , Formal schools, HQMC, etc. )… manning goal is 90%. • - Pro-Share Commands (e. g. , Bases. )… manning goal is 85%. 12
Final Notes • Monitors receive about 40 to 50 emails a day that require a response. • Monitors receive about 30 phone calls a day and spend 5 to 10 minutes talking to Marines in their populations as well as unit leadership. • Monitors process approximately 20 to 30 administrative packages daily.
