SFA Introduction ● What SFA is : A common secure API for allowing authorized users to have access to the global set of available resources through the toolof their choice. ● Why it is needed : To federate different technologies in different administrative domains. 3 - Plug. SFA Components ● 3 APIs (xmlrpc over https) Registry (port 12345) Slice Manager (port 12347) Aggregate Manager (port 12346) ● a User Interface (SFI) interacts with SM and R as approp. ● Admin/Operator tool (SFAadmin) perform SFA operations within an admin context without use of credentials. 4 - Plug.
