This course is designed to transition advanced sixth grade students to the topics and teaching styles of eighth grade. Basic manipulation of fractions, decimals, ratios, and percent will not be emphasized, so students who enter the course should already feel very comfortable with these topics. Seventh grade abstract ideas, such as algebra and geometry, will be explored in-depth in conjunction with formulas and variables. Accelerated Math VII
