Set of Slab Mugs Grading Rubric � Directions & Techniques - Followed all project directions and requirements (name & period written on all, handle is attached to all); used all appropriate techniques (functional size and shape, handle is ergonomic, rim is softened) � Composition & Creativity – Mug Set is highly developed and unified through a connecting element; interesting from all angles; surface is considered and enhances the piece (using texture plates or smooth with added design); showcases a high level of creativity of form; not plain � Craftsmanship - High level of craftsmanship; slabs are assembled evenly; everything (surfaces, details, connections/scoring & slipping) done in a neat and clean manner; no extra marks, gashes, remnants, or cracks; handles and rims are clean and not sharp in any areas � Effort & Participation - Student worked every day for the entire
