HATE CRIME • Hate crimes are any crimes committed against a person which is

HATE CRIME • Hate crimes are any crimes committed against a person which is perceived to be motivated by hostility or prejudice towards their race, religion, sexual orientation, disability or transgender identity • Hate crimes can include verbal and physical abuse, threats and intimidation, online abuse and damage to property • Hate crimes can have serious, long term effects on people.
