Hardware Configuration § Unit has to be connected to network and powered. § Computer has to be connected to the same network. § Ipconfig command from dos prompt shows current computer IP. § Monitor utility will help to find unit on the network and identify it’s current IP address. § In order to have TCP communication it is necessary to have computer and device server in the same subnet or in case device is in different network segmentappropriate gateway and network configuration.
