Sept. 25, 2017 Mrs. Parker’s Classroom News Daily Homework: 1. Read the books inside your Book Buddy Bag & complete the reading log by Friday. 2. Practice the addition flashcards that your child brought home last week. 3. Inside your child’s green folder is a copy of their sight words for the entire year. We are working on List 1 now. If your child has already mastered that list please move on the next list of words. Thank you! • • Reading: We will be focusing on long vowels this week. We will also be working on adjectives, verb tenses (past, present and future), and punctuation (. , ? , !). Math: We will be adding to 20. We will be learning different strategies for adding more than 2 numbers at a time. We will also be working on doubles (2+2, 4+4. etc. ).
