Senator Joyce Fairbairn Power. School Option Course Selection Please note: the examples in this tutorial are from the Grade 6 option selections screens. Grade 7 and 8 selections will look slightly different, but the process is the same. The option selection part of Power. School will be open from May 8 th to May 15 th.

Select Class Registration From the list on the left-hand side of the page, click on If you need help, please call 403 -381 -2977! Our wonderful office staff will be happy to help!
On the right-hand side, click on the pencil. The options for each category in the appropriate grade level will pop up. Categories for Grade 6 students look slightly different from Grade 7 and 8. Grade 6 students must choose a Fine Arts class and a music class. Grade 7 and 8 students do not. This is based on Alberta Education requirements. Once the Future Grade 6 Falcon has selected from the Fine Arts and Music options, make the other choices from the Grade 6 Options list. If you have selected a class from the Fine Arts or Music lists, don’t choose it again from the Grade 6 Option list. You do not need to select Required Courses or Additional Requests.
Check boxes to select your choices. When you’re done, click Okay There are multiple pages of options to choose from!! Scroll down and links to the other pages will be at the bottom.
Once you are happy with your option selections, make sure to click “submit” at the bottom of the main page!!! Keep in mind, option requests are not first come, first served, nor is there a way to indicate preference or priority. You may log in and change your requests until the 15 th of May. Once all student option requests have been received, our software program works to get every student as many of their requested options as possible. If you’ve selected an option, it means you are interested/willing to take that class. There is no way to indicate preference or priorities.
You’re done. Your timetable will be ready for you on the first day of school.
