Creating HST Users During this lesson you will be asked to follow along in your HST environment and complete a series of exercises. Please allow approximately 45 minutes to complete the course. ‘Getting Started in HST’ was the previous lesson in the series.

User Groups and Rights Settings When creating New User, the 1 st thing you must do is assign them to a User Group, so we’ll begin there. Click on >Admin>Users Groups
User Groups displays each group. Shown are the ones that come with HST. Double Clicking on any Group will display Group Rights.

We’re looking at the Group Rights of the School Manager group. Under Group Rights, Click on the blue arrow to open Community, Menus, POS, Inventory, Reports or Admin to display more specific rights. We’ll Click the arrow next to POS.
