Critical Situation � Mistake their constant corrections with criticism � Under the microscope feeling � In and out of different doctors � Caregivers treat them as another study instead of a person
Rhetorical Timing � Depression � Not good enough � Low self-esteem � No confidence
"They Say" � They need to be reassured that they haven't done anything wrong � The child is also learning how to deal with their disability � With constant doctor visits and test there is a high risk of the child having low self esteem � Could potentially lead to depression
Community Connection � Parents learn different ways to helping their Autistic child cope with their disorder. � Doctors/therapist could begin to treat the child as a human being, instead of just another case study.
