WHY IS CONFIDENCE IMPORTANT? • Confidence is believing in yourself, feeling comfortable in your trueself, knowing you have worth. If you are confident, people believe you, confidence is attractive, brings success, helps to connect well with others and you generally feel happier.
HOW DO YOU DEVELOP SELF CONFIDENCE? • Here are 5 ways to develop your confidence • Imagine yourself as you want to be • Do something that scares you everyday • Set yourself up to win • Help someone else • Care for yourself
WHAT IS AN EXAMPLE OF CONFIDENCE? • The definition of confidence is trust, faith, self-assurance or something told in secret. An example of confidence is the belief that the sun will rise tomorrow morning. An example of confidence is a student feeling positive and prepared for a test they are about to take.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF CONFIDENCE? • Confidence can help you to take on the world with more energy and determination, resulting in better relationships, quality work and a feeling of being connected with your surroundings. Self-confident people usually can influence others more easily, as well as control their own emotions and behaviors more responsibly.
HOW CAN YOU PRACTICE CONFIDENCE? • Present yourself with confidence. • Smile and look people in the eye. • Give genuine compliments to others. • Practice appreciation. • Play to your strengths. • Accept your imperfections. • Be prepared. • Set effective goals and work to achieve them.
THE COMFORT ZONE Stepping out of your comfort zone, ” it means doing things that you don't feel comfortable with doing. Getting outside of your comfort levels. I encourage you to push yourself in unfamiliar places, to do things that you wouldn't normally do.
FEAR ZONE Your fear zone is when you find lack of self confidence, make excuses, and get affected by others opinions.
LEARNING ZONE Between the panic zone and the comfort zone is the learning zone. One can only make progress by choosing activities in the learning zone. The skills and abilities that are just out of reach are in the learning zone; they're neither so far away that we panic nor close enough where they're too easy.
GROWTH ZONE Your growth zone is when you are brave enough to step out of your comfort zone and start setting new goals, find your purpose, discover new things, and live up to your dreams.
