Topic Sentence This sentence will give the reader an idea about what is happening in this paragraph: One way in which Zero and I are similar is that other people never thought we were smart, even though we were.

Example Here, we provide an example for the character from the book AND from our own life: Zero was bullied by many characters, but most severely by Mr. Pandanksi. One time Mr. Pandanski bullied Zero was right before Zero ran away. Mr. Pandanski said “He´s so stupid, he doesn´t even know he´s stupid. ¨ I had a similar experience in high school. My French teacher told me I must not be related to Molly Butterworth, because she was really smart and I was a disappointment.

Explanation The explanation interprets or explains the examples. Just like Zero, I was judged by an adult quickly and unjustly. I know how Zero felt when Mr. Pandanski called him stupid and I understand that it is a horrible feeling.
