Security Systems BU Communication Systems Central Control Unit (Com - ports) LBB 3500/15 Open interface applications for remote controller The DCN system provides a facility for controlling microphones, microphone management modes, attendance registration and voting from a remote controller. The remote controller can be custom built for a given application to control microphone activity - for example a push- button panel, with on/ off pushbuttons and indicator. LEDs assigned to each microphone position can be used to control delegates microphones from a remote position. The communication protocol is message based binary interface (i. e remote functions and update information). Both ports can be individually configured. NOTE: It is possible to select ‘Full’ protocol on both Port 1 and Port 2. However this is NOT recommended due to processing power and memory limitations.
