GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS There are four requirements to receive a Secondary School Diploma 1. You have achieved a minimum total of 54 credits (each course completed successfully is worth a certain number of credits) 2. 20 of these credits must come from secondary five courses 3. You must pass Secondary 4: • Math • Science • History • Art (Drama, Art, Dance or Music) 4. You must pass Secondary 5: • English, French, Phys. Ed or Ethics

You have been accepted into science but one of your marks drops in term 3 – Dawson will send you a letter in summer re-assigning you to Developmental to take supplemental course **These programs have limited spaces and are very competitive**

HOW TO APPLY • Deadline for all CEGEPS = March 1 st • Students must have their permanent code • Grades will be submitted by the School Board • A copy of your birth certificate (sent in by mail or uploaded online) • Any required additional documents need to be uploaded or received by the college by the March 1 st deadline • Application fee - $30. 00 (fee is more for private CEGEPS)
