RESTORING OUR PASSION: 1. Passion for prayer.

MATTHEW 21: 13 13 “It is written, ” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer, but you are making it ‘a den of robbers. ”

JAMES 5: 16 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

TIP FOR THE DAY: Make prayer our first response, not our last response.

RESTORING OUR PASSION: 2. Passion for praise and worship.

MARK 12: 30 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. ’

PSALMS 103: 1 1 Praise the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.

HEBREWS 13: 15 15 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.

TIP FOR THE DAY: We give God what He deserves not what we feel.

RESTORING OUR PASSION: 3. Passion for purity.

NUMBERS 25: 11 11 “Phinehas son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, the priest, has turned my anger away from the Israelites. Since he was as zealous for my honor among them as I am, I did not put an end to them in my zeal.

II KINGS 10: 16 16 Jehu said, “Come with me and see my zeal for the LORD. ” Then he had him ride along in his chariot.

TIP FOR THE DAY: Let’s be a voice not an echo.

RESTORING OUR PASSION: 4. Passion for people.

JOHN 3: 16 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

ACTS 20: 24 24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me— the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.

TIP FOR THE DAY: A life not lived for others is not life.

REVELATION 2: 4 -5 4 Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. 5 Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.
