Script Scene 1: ● (Voice-over) “We’ve been best friends since second grade. We met in Mrs. Bailey’s, sixth period, art class at Eaton Elementary School. Luna Rose and I then went all through middle and high school side-by-side. We did everything together. ” Scene 2: ● (Voice-over) “We went on family vacations together (pause), carpooled to school together (pause), and spent every weekend with each other (pause). I went to Luna for everything and anything (serious)”

Script Scene 3: ● (Voice-over) “I talked to her about literally everything. When I started dating Cliff Ackley in middle school, I would tell her how much I liked him and how much I wanted to have a happily-ever-after story with him. Cliff and I were so happy together and Luna was so happy for me. The three of us were all really good buddies and Luna and I still remained best friends while Cliff and I were dating. ” Scene 4: ● (Voice-over) “Cliff and I dated for 3 years. He even gave me a promise ring for our one year anniversary. We were the King and Queen of every school dance. His king crowns, engraved ‘Cliff Ackley’, were on my shelf in my room and my queen crowns, engraved ‘Amber Miranda’, were on his desk in his room…. ”

Script Scene 4 cont. ● “. . . Everyone thought we would last forever, including Luna. Cliff and I believed that too. We both were convinced that nothing could get between us and ruin what we had. ” Scene 5 ● (Voice-over) “He started getting closer with Luna and eventually, he dumped me. He said it was because he couldn’t handle school and hold a relationship at the same time, but he did it for three years and i knew something was up. He took the promise ring back a week after the split. Luna and I started drifting apart right after that. Then slowly, we stopped hanging out and then completely stopped talking. It was like my worst nightmare was happening right in front of my eyes and i couldn’t do anything about it. ”

Script ● (Voice-over) “I later then found out they were still close friends and it only hurt a little bit, but then I heard the most painful thing that could come out of someones mouth at the time, ‘did you hear the new thing going on with Cliff and Luna? ’ The two started dating a two weeks after Cliff and I split. Then I see MY promise ring on HER left ring finger a month after they started dating. Now, Luna is dead to me (luna screams) and now she’s dead to everyone else. But, no promises that I’m not the reason for it. ”

Shooting Script Scene one ● Amber is seen looking through photo albums of her and Luna as children. Camera comes from high angle to low angle. Shattered pictures of Amber and Cliff are seen on the ground. Amber moves around the room pacing suspiciously. Camera pans around room after establishing shot of the empty room. Amber shakes her head angrily at the albums and goes through pictures on her phone. Voiceover continues.

Shooting Script Scene Two ● Amber is seen plotting her murder for Luna. Papers are seen in an over the shoulder shot of Luna’s usual locations. Lights are dim and windows are closed. Pictures of Amber and Cliff then Luna and Cliff can be seen. Voiceover continues Scene Three ● Voice overlaps. The audience sees Amber driving from an over the shoulder shot and a passenger seat point of view. Amber looks angry.

Shooting script Scene 4 ● This scene similar to scene one, but instead of with Luna, pictures are with Cliff. Pan shot of both Amber and Cliff’s room with crowns and sashes from past school dances.

Shooting Script Scene 5 ● Amber pulls up to Luna’s house angry. She is wearing a black hoodie. She slowly walks up to the doorstep. Tracking shot from her back and behind her feet. The audience can see her bring a duffel bag into the house. Amber lifts a knife up to Luna. The screen quickly fades out and audience hears a high pitched scream. Amber gets back into her car after the black screen. The promise ring is seen, on her finger. Amber wipes off blood, then drives off. Amber drives past the house some time later, caution tape visible, police sirens in the distance and a blurry far-away shot of Cliff in front of Luna’s house.
