What is (Cognitive) Screening? • Screening: identifying apparently healthy, asymptomatic people who may have or be at risk for a disease • Ideally, there is a next step – Hepatitis C antibody testing as part of the new patient labs at the VA – PSA for prostate cancer screening • Screening for problems with cognition
