Screen Name: IPMB Screen Use: The IPMB Screen Description: screen is used to open, Basic Provider Record Update re-open or close a provider record. Scenario: As a support staff person, you just received information from a foster care certifier requesting you to re-open a provider record.
This section of the IIS screens training will teach you how to access the IPMB screen to re-open a provider record. The system will automatically re-assign the previous provider number.
IPMB, D 13138, REO Open a blank DHR screen, Type IPMB, provider number, reo and then press Enter.
The Basic Provider Record Update screen is displayed.
080806 Press the Tab key to Date Opened field, Type the provider re-open date.
To continue re-opening a provider in the IPMB screen, you must determine the Provider Type code. The next slide will display these codes. After selecting the appropriate code, enter it in the ‘TYPE’ field.
Provider Type codes: ‘Type’ field AA = Adopt Home Agency AF = Foster Parent CA = Contracted Agency DC = Day Care Center DF = Day Care Family DG = Day Care Group DI = Day care in Home FA = Sex Abuse Treatment FB = FC Reg/Shelter HK = Housekeeper IF = Intensive Family Service IH = Intensive Home Base IL = Independent Living Facility NP = Nonpaid Provider PT = Parent Training VN = Vendor
AA Press the Tab key to the provider TYPE field, Type a provider type code.
AA 24 TL The Curser will move to the WKID: field, Type your worker ID.
AA 24 TL 24 Press the Tab key to the Prov Branch Location: field, Type your branch number.
Review each field, including the address, to verify that all information is correct and update as needed.
24 TL Carefully review all the fields for accuracy. Press Enter to update and reopen the provider record.
When all data entries have been completed in the IPMB screen, press the Pause Break key. A blank DHR screen will appear so that you can complete work for other screens.
