SCOTLAND PLACES OF INTEREST Scotland is a country in the UK to the north of England. Edinburgh is its capital. It is an ancient city so is country. Many places of interesting you can find in it.

ENVERARY CASTLE Enverary castle is one of the many castles in Scotland. It is situated on the bank of lake Fain. It was build from green stone by Rodger Morris. In the castle you can find hall of guns, Victorian hall and other. Also not far from castle there are Enverary museum and wild nature park.

STERLING CASTLE Sterling is one of the biggest and more attractive castles of Scotland. In 13 th - 14 th century Sterling was military base and favourite Queen’s residence. Many important thinks were in Sterling. In this castle you can find Regimental Museum of the Argyll.

BLAIR CASTLE Blair castle is situated in Pertshire not far from Blair Atop. Today you can visit 32 rooms. In them you can see old furniture and other old thinks. Also there are many Scotland’s pictures.

A MONUMENT TO WALTER SCOTT It is one the famous monuments of Edinburgh. This monument look as big church. In the middle of it situated tall statue of Walter Scott and his dog Maida. Near them are small figures of his characters. In summer you can visit it since 9 to 20 o’clock. Tickets are 2. 50 pounds.
