Concluding Remarks Natural disaster (typhoon, flood, and earthquake in particular) is one of critical homeland security issues in Taiwan. The implementation of NARL’s core technologies encompassing synergy of high-resolution satellite image, virtual reality computing, grid computing as well as disaster mitigation technology demonstrates a practical solution with the social impacts for the natural disaster management.
