Hand Lens and Magnifying Glass § Magnifying glasses and hand lens help you see objects in more detail
Microscopes § Microscopes allow you to see organisms in great detail by making things look bigger.
Balance § Balances compare the measure of an objects mass to determine which one weighs more or less.
Triple Beam Balance § A triple beam balance weighs the mass of objects. It can weigh small and large objects. This is kind of like the scale when you go to the doctor’s office.
Measuring Cups § A measuring cup is a tool that is used to measure large volumes of a liquid.
Beaker § Beakers are tools that measure liquids and can be used to heat liquids without cracking.
Graduated Cylinder § Graduated cylinders are used to measure liquids by being more accurate because they are broken down into smaller dimensions.
Goggles § Goggles protect your eyes from liquids and chemicals. It is important to wear goggles when there might be splashes or fast things coming at you.
Measuring Tape § Measuring tape helps scientists measure size of objects or organisms and short distances.
Thermometer § Thermometers are tools that show temperatures of a substance. Temperature can be measured using Celsius or Fahrenheit.
