GERMINATION The root (radicle) will first emerges from the seed coat. Then it will be followed by the emergence of the shoot (plumule). The root will always grows downwards into the soil, while the shoot (the upper part of a plant) will always grows upwards towards the light.

ADULT STAGE Once the plant become adult, it will produce flower. DEVELOPMENT OF FRUITS A fruit is a structure that develops after the emergence of flower.

PRODUCTION OF SEEDS As fruits become ripen, it will then produce seeds. The seeds will then travel to new places away from the main plant. The seeds can be dispersed with the help of wind, water, or animals. The life cycle of the plant will then begins again.

The plant starts it life as a seed, which germinates and grows into a plant. The mature plant produces flowers, which are fertilised and produce seeds in a fruit. The plant eventually dies, leaving seeds which germinate to produce new plants.
