General Safety Rules • Never put materials in your mouth. Do not taste anything unless the teacher tells you to do so. • Never smell any unknown material. If your teacher tells you to smell something, wave your hand over the material to bring the smell toward your nose.

General Safety Rules • Never mix any chemicals unless you are told to do so. • Clean up your work space after each lab and put all materials away. • Always wash your hands with soap and warm water after handling lab work.
Emergency Safety Rules • Report all spills and clean them up right away. • Report all accidents and injuries to the teacher, no matter how small!
Science Lab Expectations • Act Responsibly during all science activities. • No playing around in lab or during activities. It will result in the loss of lab privileges.
