WETLAND A wetland is land which is wet most or all of the time. Within a habitat there can be a number of micro-habitats. MICRO-HABITAT A small-scale environment that forms part of a larger habitat. A wetland is a type of habitat. A habitat is a place where an animal or plant lives. Can you think of what kind of animals or plants live here? Write down your answer.
