What Architects do • It concerns both planning and designs of the built and natural environment. Emphasis is on art approach to design • program is fully accredited by the commonwealth Association of Architects (CAA) since 1993 therefore meeting international standards.

What Landscape Architects do • Create and re-create spaces and places for human activities. • Create new landscapes in urban and rural areas • Manage and conserve natural landscapes and heritage properties. • Our graduates work in urban planning, conservation agencies, governments and the private sector. • Affiliated with Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK) and the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA).

What Construction Managers do • Construction Management as a practice involves overall planning, coordination and control of a construction project for timely completion within the Client’s budget. • Students in this programme are trained virtually in all aspects of construction processes and management from building through services engineering to infrastructure services (roads, waste, ICT, etc).
What Real Estate Managers do • A degree in Real Estate prepares graduates for work in property management (property administration, valuations, etc). • Bachelor of Real Estate programme acquaints students with the specifics of real estate law in relation to commercial, rental and private property. • Helps students develop marketing strategies and introduces them to real estate investing.
What Quantity Surveyors do • Quantity surveyors manage the costs on a construction project. They help to ensure that the construction project is completed within its projected budget. • Depending on the stage of the project and their employer, they might: • • • price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project measure and value the work done on site pay subcontractors liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers select and/or source construction materials write reports.
