Provincial Scholarships • Based on Public Exam Marks – Junior Jubilee – Electoral District – Centenary – Constable Moss $2500 $1000 (3 per district) $1000 (52 based on marks) $1000 (son or daughter of RNC or RCMP)
Provincial Scholarships cont. • School Board-Eastern Education Foundation – 15 students, one from each zone – $1000 no other concurrent scholarship – honours, leadership, school and community involvement – Deadline: October next year
School Bursaries • $3000 -$4000 annually • Based on need and shared amongst applicants - PTA - Paul Whalen - Ocean Ranger - Renee Hurley - Brian Moore - Rogan Power - Andrew Hatfield - Chad Mercer - Diana Johnson
University-Colleges • Amount and type vary from place to place • Most universities automatically consider students when they apply • Some may require a separate letter/application • Some based solely on marks others on marks and well-roundedness • Applications after January Exams ( Feb. -April)
