What is a Course Level? Major subjects like English, math, science and social studies are leveled, meaning students of like ability are grouped as follows: /Modified (co-taught) College /College Prep /Honors/Advanced Placement Prep A student may be in different levels for different courses and may move between levels each year. The level is determined by the teacher recommendations, you and your parent. If you have a concern about levels for grade 9, it is best to consult with your current teachers and/or counselor.
