SCAMPER • An acronym for a list of verbs or action words that are used as a stimuli to enable students to think creatively and beyond the text presented. • Can be used to both generate ideas and map students’ ideas.

Scamper stands for S– substitute ( a person, place, time or scene ) C– combine ( bring together different ideas or situations ) A– adapt ( adjust to suit a purpose) M– modify ( alter or change a situation) P– put to other uses ( new uses or alternatives) E– eliminate ( remove, omit a part) R– rearrange ( change order or position )
