SBIRT Training Grant & the Current Program ASU Received SBIRT Student Training Grant, Fall, 2015, began Spring, 2016 Trained faculty Community Training Explored this Learning Collaborative & Kognito Developed our own modules & integrated SBIRT into our College
Goals & Objectives Goal 1: To establish an on going inter-professional training program to undergraduate and graduate students in health sciences to successfully utilize Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT). Goal 2: Ensure sustainability of SBIRT at Appalachian and increase practice of SBIRT throughout NC to increase the number of successful referrals for individuals who suffer from a substance use disorder, including those in regions of health disparity.
Inter-professional Training Pilot in the Social Work Department Expanded to Nursing & Public Health Vision for the Beaver College of Health Sciences for IPE IP Clinic & SBIRT
