What is intend? To have in mind as something to be done or brought about; plan
An expression when we have a plan to do something or intention to do something. If you intend to do something, you mean to do it or have it in mind as a goal. Saying you intend to do something
(intend something as/to do something) Plan that something should be or do something: Ex : a series of questions intended as a checklist. Plan that speech should have (a particular meaning): Ex : no offence was intended, I assure you.
(usually be intended for/to do something) Design or destine something for a particular purpose: Ex : pigs intended for human consumption. a one-roomed cottage intended to accommodate a family. (be intended for) Be meant or designed for the use of (a particular person or group): this benefit is intended for people incapable of work.
