After he moved from his mother's home to see his fortune, he demonstrates his wisdom by building his house out of sturdy brick. His lazy brothers build straw and stick houses, which are both destroyed by The Big Bad Wolf with a "huff and a puff. " Obviously, the third pig knew a brick house would protect him and withstand the evils of The Big Bad Wolf, possibly saving his life one day. It is very important to think carefully and to plan ahead because one bad decision can be detrimental for the future.
