Explanation about emotions • Emotion is a reaction • 6 social emotions • Sad • Happy • Angry ^ • Afraid * • Surprised * • Disgusted ^ • Feeling an emotion is never wrong, however how you express it, is important.
Sad = sober, cheerless • Corners of the mouth down, eyelids also • Blurred image by watery eyes
Situations when you’re sad • • When someone passed away When you have a fight When you have troubles/problems at work When you had an accident
Happy = joy, pleasure, fun • Both corners of the mouth up • The eyebrows go down and the cheeks up, and so is the skin under the eyes.
Situations when you’re happy • • When you’re on a holiday When it’s your birthday When the sun is shining When you’re having a good meal
Angry = furious • Furrowed brows and compressed lips • Clenched jaws
Situations when you’re angry • • If someone destroyed something of you If you’ve lost a game unfair If someone stole something from you If someone hurts you
Afraid = fear, panic • Eyes are bigger, the eyebrows go up and towards each other • The corners of the mouth go back and the mouth is a little bit open
Situations when you’re afraid • • When you need to ask a question to a stranger When you watch a scary movie When you’re home alone and you hear sounds If you have to cross a very busy intersection
Surprised = shocked • Eyebrows go up, but not to each other • Eyes get bigger and rounder • Mouth opens

Disgusted = hate, grossed out • Wrinkles along the nose, nostrils are narrower • The upper lip is raised and the lower lip is protrudes • The eyebrows go a little down and the cheeks are going up

But then the employee is losing his mind because he gets confused about the letters of the alphabet. The colleague comes closer to the employee so he can help him. And speaks to the employee with a gentle voice (not to loud or to quiet). Have a natural, warm smile for the employee. The employee becomes calm (and to resume his work).

When he checks the closet for the towels he finds a package, wrapped in colourful paper. He starts to smile and looks around. Then he sees a few colleagues, they are smiling at him and start to sing a happy birthday song. The smile of the employee gets bigger and he starts to laugh.
